Join Ziyana Govindji as she brings to life The King and the Mouse, a heartwarming tale of leadership, kindness, and friendship, adapted by Professor Zayn Kassam, Director of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø.
About the story
Rooted in Kalila wa Dimna, one of the world’s oldest and much-loved collections of animal fables, passed down through Arabic translation from an earlier Persian text and ultimately tracing back to the ancient Sanskrit Panchatantra – this story has travelled centuries and cultures to reach young listeners today.
Watch as a mighty king discovers that even the smallest creature can offer help when it matters most, in this gentle lesson on courage, generosity, and the true meaning of friendship.
The children’s story book is available in print from your local ITREB.
